Request Samples Online

If you are purchasing uniforms and require a sample to help make your final decision, simply:

  1. Add the items you would like to see to your  Order/Quote.
  2. Check the size, colour and shipping requirements are correct.
  3. Select Create a Quote.
  4. On the next page fill out your contact details.
  5. Tick the box to request samples.
  6. Complete any other required fields.
  7. Submit your quote.
  8. We'll check over your sample request and provide the best option for getting them to you.
  9. We will then make arrangements to send them out to you.
  10. Samples are on 10 day approval.

 

What do samples cost?
If you are happy to use our showroom samples we only charge a small sample handling fee. However, this fee will be credited back to you when you place a full order over $250+GST. The fee amount (usually between $5 and $15) will be calculated and displayed on your quote, a credit card will be requested but only charged when we have confirmed your samples.

Sample Fee
If you go ahead with the showroom samples but don't end up placing an order with us the sample fee will not be refunded.

Require fit-out sets or multiple sizes?
We usually only recommend this once garments have been confirmed. If you are ordering multiple sizes of the same style, we may require you to purchase these in full. We will refund you when they are returned on time and in accepted condition as per our return guidelines. Some restocking fees may apply if you don't use the sets in your final order. We'll contact you if payment is required once you submit your sample request.

Headwear Samples
You can submit a quote to us from the shopping cart for any quantity of hats above the specified minimum. If you require a sample, we will contact you about purchasing a sample hat and shipping. Sample hats are non returnable and will not be refunded. There is no additional sample fee when only a hat sample is requested.

When will I receive them?
Timeframes are the same as unbranded orders in the shipping timeframes description below. Sample garments are usually picked from our available showroom stock. If you need specific sizes and colours and we don't have any available at the showroom we will need to order more in, this can take an extra couple of days before we send them out to you. We are stricter on timeframes for any garments that need to be ordered in.

How long can I view them?
We allow approximately 10 days for you to view them once you have received them. Garments received back after this date may be charged in full or have a re-stocking fee applied.

Why do I get charged for not returning on time?
If we need to order garments in from a supplier or manufacturer they have strict timeframes on us returning them. They must be returned in as new condition and within timeframe.

How do I return them?
Please send them back to our showroom address on the contact page. You will need to cover shipping costs when sending them back.

Purchases & Quotes Payment Options

Purchase Online

Creating a uniform quote and purchasing online is all done through the same online quote system.

  1. Simply navigate to the Uniforms & Logos area and find the styles you require.
  2. Click "Add" to add your preferred styles & logos to your online order/quote.
  3. Confirm your quantities, colour, size requirements & shipping details are correct.
  4. Choose "Create a Quote" or "Purchase Now" and you will be taken to a secure area to enter your details.
  5. At any point before final confirmation by you, you can delete or adjust your order to suit.
  6. Click the submit button and your purchase/quote will be sent to us and we will contact you to confirm any details.
  7. If no logos are required, please allow 3-7 days for delivery, or let us know if your order is required by a certain date.
 

Payment Options

You can select Credit Card, Cash, Bank Transfer or On Account when purchasing online.

 

Credit Card Details For Samples Or Purchases With Branding

Your credit card will be authorised but not charged for purchases with branding or samples. The authorisation will expire after 7 days if the job does not proceed. The name "uniformNZ Limited" will show on your statement when payments are completed.

 

Delivery

We send your order by tracked Courier. You can also choose to pick up/collect from our Invercargill showroom when ready. See below for more delivery information.

Logos & Branding Uniform Branding, Logo & Artwork Guidelines, Supplied Garments

We can accept most image formats to complete your uniform branding. Just note that the better quality information we receive from our clients the quicker the branding process. If you don't have access to a good quality image for your branding we can help create something for you. If your existing logo needs redrawn there may be a small fee.

  • For embroidery a good quality JPG or similar is preferred.
  • For printing and transfers a PDF, EPS or AI vector of your logo with all text as curves is the easiest for us to reproduce.
  • If you need us to match colours precisely, a relevant PMS colour is the simplest way to ensure you get a good match.

If your logo has fine detail in it we do prefer a vector image to reproduce your logo for printing. With a bitmap file (eg. JPG) we may not be able to give you the best reproduction. For more info on why a vector is better than a bitmap check out this link: Raster (Bitmap) vs Vector.

Returns And Exchange Guidelines For Purchases

  • We can exchange the size and colour of a product within 14 days, any returns/exchanges after this timeframe will be subject to fees.
  • Products must be returned in tidy condition with all packaging and labelling intact.
  • Products not fit for resale will be invoiced or have a fee applied.
  • If you change your mind about an order with multiple sizes and colours of the same style product you will be charged a re-stocking fee.
  • Products that have been altered or that have had logos affixed cannot be accepted for return unless there is a genuine fault.
  • Unfortunately shipping charges on returns are not refundable
 

 Shipping / Delivery Options & Timeframes

We ship throughout NZ and can also ship overseas/worldwide on request. Shipping costs are calculated when creating your online order/quote. Most of our NZ deliveries are sent with Courierpost New Zealand.

UNBRANDED GOODS / BLANK GARMENTS
Please allow 3-7 working days for delivery of goods with no logos or branding requirements. Standard despatch is 2-4 days from our showroom plus shipping time to your location. Let us know if your order is required by a certain date in the final comments box, we will do our best to get it to you on time. Please view the Priority Shipping option below if you need your unbranded order quickly.

BRANDED GOODS, PRINT & EMBROIDERY
For orders with logos and branding the time frame will depend on the requirements of your job. We can advise approximate timeframe and work with you if you have a deadline.

PRIORITY DESPATCH / SHIPPING
Priority despatch is available for some products when branding is not required. Items ordered before 12pm are often shipped within 1 working day and delivery is 1-3 days after that. Priority means we can ship direct from distribution centres around NZ. It costs a little extra but it can shorten delivery times by a couple of days. You may receive your items in more than one package.

RURAL DELIVERY
Please allow an extra 2 days on top of above options for rural shipping.

TRACKING YOUR DELIVERY
For standard delivery and branded orders you should receive a tracking email when they leave our showroom. For priority shipping you will not receive automatic tracking, but we can usually provide some if requested. Please allow us a day to get tracking from the courier in this scenario.

WORLDWIDE / OVERSEAS DELIVERY
You can select the Worldwide (Price TBC) (to be confirmed) option in our shopping cart. Submit your shopping cart to us as a quote and we will come back with a shipping price before processing your order. Please allow 1 working day for us to get a shipping price to you.

PICK UP
Pick Up is from our uniform showroom at 142 Otepuni Avenue, Invercargill. We will let you know when your order is ready for pick up. Stock may need to be ordered in, so please allow a couple of days.
